Indian Food near Old Town
Urban Turban is about a mile and a half north-west of North Avenue and Wells, at 2660 N Halsted St in Lincoln Park. By train, take the Brown Line north from Sedgwick three stops to Diversey, then walk about 8 minutes east to Halsted. By car or bike, Lincoln Avenue meets Halsted at Fullerton, a few blocks south of us.
Our Indian Punjabi menu runs until 11 PM every day except Tuesday, so dinner after a show still works. Butter Chicken (murgh makhani) is smoky and tomato-forward, finished with kasuri methi and white butter. Chicken Dum Biryani is sealed and steamed, so it travels well. If you like lamb, try the Lamb Seekh Kebab; vegetarians can go for Paneer Butter Masala or Dal Makhani (Maa Ki Dal). Chole Bhature, the most-ordered plate on our menu, is best eaten at the table while the bhature are hot.
Delivery from our own kitchen is $3.99, free over $50, and checkout tells you whether we reach your address. Pickup has no delivery fee, and ordering on our site has no app fees.

Every dish comes in Mild, Medium, Spicy or Indian Spicy — choose the spice level per dish when you order.
All chicken, goat and lamb is zabiha halal meat from ZaFresh Zabiha Supermarket. It is the only meat we buy.
