From DePaul's Lincoln Park campus, Urban Turban is about half a mile north-east, at 2660 N Halsted St. From the Fullerton 'L' stop, walk two blocks east on Fullerton to Halsted, turn left and head north past Wrightwood. It's roughly a 10 to 15 minute walk.
We're an Indian Punjabi kitchen, open until 11 PM every day except Tuesday, which helps after a late class or a long study session. Chole Bhature is the most-ordered plate on the menu. The Butter Chicken Naan Pocket, a wrap made with naan instead of a tortilla, is easy to eat on the walk back. About half the menu is vegetarian, including Dal Makhani (Maa Ki Dal) and the Punjabi Vegetarian Thali. For a group, the Dhaba Box for Two or the Family Feast for Four covers the table in one order.
