Effective September 17, 2026
Urban Turban by VeerGi is a restaurant at 2660 N Halsted St, Chicago, IL 60614. This policy covers tryurbanturban.com and the ordering, reservation, club, catering and music features on it.
When you order or reserve: your name, email, phone number, order contents, allergy or special-instruction notes, and pickup or table details.
When you pay: payment is handled by Stripe. We receive a confirmation and the last four digits of the card; we never see or store your full card number.
When you sign in: your Google account name, email and profile picture, used only to keep you signed in and show your orders.
When you join Urban Club or refer a friend: your membership, credits, and referral activity.
Automatically: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) and basic analytics to keep the site working and secure.
To prepare and hand you your order, seat your reservation, send order updates by text or email, run Urban Club benefits, answer catering enquiries, and protect the site from abuse.
We send marketing messages only if you opted in, and every message has a way to stop.
Service providers that help us run the restaurant: our point-of-sale system (so the kitchen sees your order), Stripe (payments), Google (sign-in), Twilio and Resend (texts and emails), and our hosting provider. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
We do not sell your personal information.
When you interact with our Facebook or Instagram pages, Meta's own privacy policy applies. Our staff tools publish posts to those pages; they do not collect information about people who see or like them beyond what Meta shows every page owner.
Order and payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Account information is kept while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account information at any time — see our Data Deletion page.
You can order as a guest, opt out of marketing, and request a copy or deletion of your information by emailing tryurbanturban@gmail.com.
Our services are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
If this policy changes, we will update the date below. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
