100% Zabiha Halal Meat
All chicken, goat and lamb in our kitchen is 100% zabiha halal. It is the only meat we buy, so there is nothing to ask for and nothing to check.
Vegetarian and Vegan Dishes
Half of the menu is vegetarian, and much of it is vegan as cooked - dal, chole, sabzi, rice and roti. Dishes finished with butter or cream are marked, and we will leave them out when you ask.
From the Kitchen
Punjabi cooking, made the way it is made at home: spices layered by hand, dal held on the flame overnight, bread from a live tandoor. Tell us about an allergy when you order and the kitchen cooks around it.

We are open Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM. We are closed on Tuesday.
Half of the menu is vegetarian, and much of it is vegan as cooked.
Every dish comes in Mild, Medium, Spicy or Indian Spicy — choose the spice level per dish when you order.
All chicken, goat and lamb is zabiha halal meat from ZaFresh Zabiha Supermarket. It is the only meat we buy.
Direct delivery and catering from our own kitchen cover up to 15 miles of Lincoln Park, including Lake View, North Center, Uptown, Near North Side, Avondale, Logan Square, West Town, the Loop, Edgewater, Lincoln Square, Hermosa and Albany Park. Evanston, Skokie, Oak Park and Elmwood Park can order through Uber Eats, DoorDash and Grubhub.
Delivery, pickup and dine-in orders are all placed directly with us at tryurbanturban.com, with no app fees. Our own courier brings Punjabi Indian food from our kitchen to your door — enter your address at checkout to see if we deliver to you. Urban Turban is also listed on Uber Eats, DoorDash and Grubhub as an alternative, with a shorter menu.
Our most-ordered dishes are Chole Bhature and Butter Chicken (Murgh Makhani).
Breads start at $3.99, starters at $7.99, most curries and mains are $14.99 to $25.99, and a full thali is $19.99 to $27.99.
Parking is paid street parking on and around Halsted. We keep a portable ramp at the restaurant - let us know you are coming, or ask at the door, and our staff will set it up. Table requests can be made at tryurbanturban.com/reservations.
